Charming villa with private pool and air conditioning, located in Valtiberina, on the border with Umbria. It can accommodate up to 10 people, has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.

External Description

Villa le Torri was originally a lookout guard tower, built about the first half of the 1600 by Ferdinand II of the Medici. The entire property is, in fact, made up of the main building and the characteristic tower which has a separate entrance.
Surrounded by a 2-hectare garden with flowers and trees (olive trees, biological peach and plum trees), the villa boasts a beautiful private pool (6 x 12 m), equipped with sun loungers, deck chairs and parasols. Next to the pool is available on request a Jacuzzi and a lounge area, ideal for relaxing while enjoying the breathtaking view over the valley below.
Moving to a slightly lower garden level there is a delightful patio with a dining table for 10 people.
At guests' disposal also a private parking, a small football field (for 5 people) and a ping pong table.

Internal Description

Recently restored and furnished in a rustic Tuscan style, the property consists of the main building and the tower which has a separate entrance. It can sleep up to 10 people, has 5 bedrooms (3 doubles and 2 twins) and 5 bathrooms (with shower).

Main building: The ground floor consists of: a characteristic reading room with stereo, and a beautiful dining room for 10 people, furnished with an antique fireplace, sofa, armchairs and satellite TV. Then you will find a spacious well equipped kitchen (with fridge, microwave, American coffee machine and dishwasher).
The upper floor is dedicated to the sleeping area divided as follows: 2 double bedrooms (one of which can be converted into a twin if necessary) and 2 twin bedrooms (both convertible into doubles if necessary). All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning and ensuite bathroom with shower and thermostatic mixer.

Tower: The ground floor consists of a small sitting room with sofa and dining table, and a bathroom with shower. On the first floor there is a double bedroom with a large terrace and a splendid view over the Valtiberina.

Prices and conditions

Included in the price: Internet Wifi; bed linen; bath towels; pool towels; daily cleaning of the outside pool; cots and high chair; welcome buffet; wine tasting in the winery; monastery tour with the owner; maid service (2 hours midweek).

Excluded from the price: Final cleaning (€150.00); heating (€5.00 per m3); air conditioning (€0.50 per kWh); hot tub in the pool (€250.00 per week). Tourist tax (the amount usually varies, depending on location, from €0,50 to €4.00 per person per night for a maximum of seven nights, excluding minors, and will be paid upon arrival).

Security deposit: Customers are required to pay 500,00€ security deposit upon arrival (cash), which will be returned at the end of the stay upon damages.

Places to visit

Villa le Torri is located in Ripoli, a small village in the province of Arezzo, on the border with Umbria and only 2.5 km from Monterchi, where Piero della Francesca painted one of his most famous frescoes “La Madonna del Parto” towards the end of the 15th century. Ideal starting point to reach the main attractions of Tuscany (Arezzo, Siena, Cortona) and Umbria (Perugia, Assisi, Orvieto).
For sports lovers, we suggest a day trip to Lake Trasimeno where you can practice sailing, sport fishing, canoeing and water skiing.
