External Description

Villa Cassandori is one of the ancient villas of the Lucca countryside, nestled in a wonderful hilly landscape.
Dating back to the 18th century, the property has been recently restored whilst keeping the original historical features, and guaranteeing the utmost luxury and comfort.
Surrounded by a stunning Italian garden with a circular fountain, the villa features outdoor dining areas with gazebos and barbecue, ideal for alfresco lunches/dinners.
Also you will find a beautiful pool (10 x 6 m, depth 1.40 m), open all year round, adorned by a well-kept lawn, and equipped with sunbeds, parasols, changing room and shower.
Lastly, at guests' disposal a private parking for 4 cars.

Internal Description

Elegantly furnished, Villa Cassandori consists of the main building and a dependance, and can sleep up to 16 people, has 8 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms. Internet Wifi is included. All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning. A cot and a high chair are available upon request. Pets are allowed on request.

Main building: The main building can accommodate up to 14 people, and is spread over 4 floors, connected internally by a freight elevator.
In the basement there is a cellar and the laundry room (with washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board).
The ground floor is dedicated to the living area formed by an elegant sitting room (with sofas, armchairs and fireplace), a spacious dining room, a modern kitchen and a toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped with: stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, American fridge, toaster, coffee machine, and breakfast table for 4 people.
On the first floor there are two double bedrooms, both with ensuite bathroom (one with shower, the other with shower and bathtub), and a twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom (with hydromassage shower).
The top floor houses 4 bedrooms composed by: a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom (with shower), a bedroom with French bed and ensuite bathroom (with shower), two double bedrooms sharing a bathroom with shower/bathtub.

Dependance: The dependance is located next to the main building and has its own entrance. It is set on one single level, on the ground floor, and can sleep up to 2 people. You will find a living area with sofas, a dining table for 4 people, a kitchenette and a tv. Following is a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower.

Prices and conditions

Included in the price: Utilities (water, gas, electricity); final cleaning; Internet Wifi; house, garden and pool maintenance.

Excluded from the price: Extra linen change (30.00€ per room); extra cleaning on request (120.00€ per cleaning); extra services on request (tours, cooking lessons, private chef, private transport, and much more). Tourist tax if required (the amount usually varies, depending on location, from 0.50€ to 4.00€ per person per night for a maximum of seven nights, excluding minors, and will be paid upon arrival).

Security deposit: Customers are required to pay 1,000.00€ security deposit upon arrival (cash), which will be returned at the end of the stay upon any damages.

Places to visit

Villa Cassandori is nestled in a typically hilly landscape of Tuscany, just 9 km from Lucca. The city is traditionally called the "city of a hundred churches" for the large number of places of worship within the city center. Moreover, Lucca is the venue for several musical and cultural events throughout the year, such as Lucca Summer & Winter Festival e il Lucca Comics & Games.
Beyond Lucca, some of the tourist attractions of the surrounding area are the luxurious villas in Lucca (over three hundred), characterized by elegant parks with gardens and fountains.
Within 40 minutes by car you can reach both Pisa, the city of the leaning tower, and Montecatini Terme, a renowned Tuscan spa resort.
Also within 40 minutes by car you can visit the Versilia coast, a tourist and seaside riviera known throughout Italy for its nightlife and clubs, especially the towns of Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi and Pietrasanta.
For lovers of nature and sports (trekking and mountain biking), we suggest an excursion to Garfagnana, an area full of natural landscapes, mountain trails and ancient picturesque villages.
