External Description

Villa la Corte is located near Greve in Chianti, in the splendid Chianti countryside.
Surrounded by 10 hectares of olive groves, vineyards and gardens, the property dates back to the 12th century and boasts a large veranda equipped with a dining table, from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Tuscan landscape.
Among the outdoor spaces you will also find a lounge area, ideal to relax while reading a book or sipping a glass of wine, and a suggestive stone-lined pool (14 x 4.2 x 2.3 m), with sunbeds, shade umbrellas, a wet bar, and external shower.
Moreover at guests' disposal there is ample private parking, a bowling green, a fenced tennis court (Astroturf), a gym with exercise equipment, weights, and a ping pong table. Equipment for all of these is provided. Children can also enjoy the enclosed trampoline.
The villa is a short walk to a path that leads to extensive walking/biking trails along the Fiume Pesa. 

Internal Description

Internally furnished in an elegant and comfortable style, Villa la Corte is spread over 3 floors and can accommodate up to 12 people for a total of 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.
Internet Wifi is available. Bedrooms have air conditioning. Pets are allowed on request.

Ground floor: The ground floor consists of: a large ancient arched stone entry hall, a fully equipped kitchen (with dishwasher, microwave, oven, two refrigerators and dining table); a spacious dining room with wooden table and massive fireplace; a living room with sofa, tv, fireplace, and games table; a large billiard room with snooker equipment as well as a dart board. A toilet and a laundry room with washer and dryer make the rest of the floor.

First floor: The first floor is dedicated to the sleeping area divided as follows: a master bedroom with a king bed and ensuite bathroom, 2  bedrooms (which have the option of two single beds or one king) with ensuite bathrooms; 2 bedrooms (which have the option of two single beds or one king) with a shared bathroom down the hall. There is also a large sitting room with a massive fireplace and a bookshelf, as well as another large room typically adorned with flowers. 

Mezzanine floor: On this level there is a bedroom with 2 singles (convertible to a king) and ensuite bathroom.

Prices and conditions

Included in the price: Daily maid service; utilities (gas, water, electricity); housekeeping service at guests' disposal; a welcome basket; a welcome dinner; a Sunday continental breakfast; a cook service for dinners (the shopping service is not included therefore the cost of food and petrol are to be paid extra).

Excluded from the price: Other extra services on request. Tourist tax (the amount usually varies, depending on location, from €0,50 to €4.00 per person per night for a maximum of seven nights, excluding minors, and will be paid upon arrival).

Places to visit

Villa la Corte is located in the beautiful Tuscan countryside of Chianti, halfway between Florence and Siena, and just 9 km from Greve in Chianti where you will find typical "trattorias" and restaurants, as well as all basic shops.
The wonderful Chianti area is known worldwide for the prestigious wine to which it gives birth (the typical mark of the Gallo Nero), and for its evocative sceneries and charming villages which are along the “Via Chiantigiana”, from Greve to Gaiole, from Castellina to Radda.
It is also worth visiting the countryside of Siena. Here, in fact, you can admire other medieval gems like San Gimignano, Monteriggioni and San Galgano.
