Built in 1930 in an elegant Art Nouveau style and recently renovated, Villa Leandra is considered one of the most charming historic villas on Lake Como.
It stands in the beautiful Intelvi Valley, just a few kilometers from the picturesque village of Argegno on the shores of the Lombard lake.
Surrounded by greenery, the villa offers a large, beautifully maintained private garden with a lawn and breathtaking views of the surrounding Alpine peaks. This peaceful corner is furnished with comfortable chairs, loungers, and small tables, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature.
The spacious outdoor patio features a dining table that can seat over eight people, ideal for al fresco lunches and dinners. Completing the outdoor spaces are a balcony and a 30 sq m panoramic terrace where you can admire the mountain landscape in complete tranquility.
There is also a lovely furnished veranda and a convenient barbecue area, perfect for organizing convivial meals with family and friends.
The property also boasts a private above-ground pool (5 x 10 m, depth 1.5 m), open from May 1st to October 1st, set in the greenery, and ideal for cooling off on warm summer days.
Finally, for maximum convenience, a private outdoor parking area is available, with space for 4-5 cars.

Internal Description

Villa Leandra is an elegant residence that blends classic charm with contemporary details, arranged over 4 levels, and nestled in the natural beauty of the Intelvi Valley. Each floor has a separate entrance. The property can accommodate up to 12 guests, offering 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Internet Wifi is included. Upon request, two baby cots and a highchair are available. Pets are not allowed.

Ground floor: On the ground floor, you will find a spacious, fully equipped kitchen with a stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, kettle, and coffee machine, perfect for preparing any kind of meal. Completing the living area are a large dining room ideal for family gatherings, a bathroom with shower, and a bright veranda where you can relax in complete tranquility.

First floor: The first floor features 2 double bedrooms, one of which boasts a charming fireplace and direct access to the dining room below. The bathroom with shower ensures practicality and comfort, while the splendid panoramic terrace offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

Second floor: Up on the second floor, there are 2 additional double bedrooms, one with a lovely private balcony. A cozy living room with fireplace, sofa, and balcony creates the perfect spot to unwind. A bathroom with shower completes this floor.

Third floor: The top floor, with its characterful sloping ceilings, features two double bedrooms (one of which includes a comfortable sofa), and a bathroom with both shower and bathtub, offering a secluded and peaceful retreat.

Prices and conditions

Included in the price: Final cleaning; Internet Wifi; utilities (water, gas, electricity); house, garden and pool maintenance.

Excluded from the price: Any extra services on request. Tourist tax if required (the amount usually varies, depending on location, from 0.50€ to 4.00€ per person per night for a maximum of seven nights, excluding minors, and will be paid upon arrival).

Security deposit: Customers are required to pay 500.00€ security deposit upon arrival (cash), which will be returned at the end of the stay upon any damages.

Villa Leandra is located in the municipality of Dizzasco, a charming village nestled in the beautiful Valle Intelvi, one of the greenest and most well-kept areas of the Como province. This picturesque valley connects Lake Como to Lake Lugano, offering breathtaking scenery between Italy and Switzerland.
The villa is the perfect base for outdoor enthusiasts, with plenty of opportunities for panoramic hikes and mountain biking. Nearby, you’ll also find the renowned Lanzo Golf Club (just 10 km away) and the slopes of Monte Sighignola (around 17 km), ideal for a few hours of sport and leisure.
Just a few minutes away, the quaint village of Argegno enchants visitors with its narrow historic streets, lakeside squares, and numerous ice-cream parlors, cafés, and restaurants where you can savor local cuisine. From here, you can catch a ferry to explore the gems of Lake Como or take a hydrofoil for a quick trip to famous destinations like Bellagio and Menaggio.
Continuing along the lakeshore, you’ll come across the elegant village of Laglio, an iconic destination also chosen by George Clooney for his splendid villa, the perfect spot for exclusive aperitifs at sunset.
Heading south, the vibrant city of Como awaits, offering shopping, culture, and a lively urban atmosphere. Traveling north instead, the lush Valle Intelvi invites you to take relaxing walks in nature, while just a short distance from Argegno, the picturesque villages of Sala Comacina and Ossuccio provide unique views and the chance to sail to the enchanting Comacina Island, a true jewel in the heart of the lake.
