Built in 1766 by a noble Austrian family, this elegant period villa is an authentic historical gem set in the splendid setting of the Intelvi Valley, one of the most charming and well-kept areas in the province of Como, and it boasts breathtaking views over Lake Como.
The property is surrounded by an enchanting garden of approximately 2,000 sqm, a true corner of paradise where nature and art blend harmoniously. Ancient fountains, centuries-old trees, flowering plants, and rare eighteenth-century sculptures create a romantic, timeless atmosphere—perfect for those seeking peace and beauty.
Within the garden, a dining area with a barbecue is ideal for hosting pleasant outdoor gatherings with friends and family. Enhancing the outdoor spaces even further, a beautiful 30 sqm terrace on the ground floor offers an unrivalled panorama over Lake Como and the surrounding mountains: the perfect setting to relax or enjoy an aperitif at sunset.
The villa enjoys a quiet and private location. Although it does not have private parking, numerous public parking spaces are available in the immediate vicinity of the property.

Internal Description

Villa Dizzasco is spread over three floors and captivates with a fascinating blend of authentic historical interiors and modern comforts. During the twentieth century, it was the residence of the family of the renowned Italian artist Baldassare Longoni, whose works still embellish the villa’s rooms today.
Completely renovated in 2011 by the current owners, the residence preserves details of extraordinary value: refined stuccoes, handmade tiles, frescoed walls, artisanal wallpaper, silk, and precious marbles.
From its large windows, a spectacular view unfolds over the crystal-clear waters of Lake Como and the imposing silhouette of the surrounding mountains, offering glimpses of rare beauty in every season.
Inside, every room tells a story of art and refinement: paintings by Italian masters, precious silk tapestries, antique furnishings adorned with the crests of the most noble families, and magnificent Murano glass chandeliers all confer a timeless elegance on this extraordinary residence.
The villa is equipped with Internet Wifi and can accommodate up to 5 guests. It has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. All bedrooms are air-conditioned. Pets are not allowed.

Ground floor: On the ground floor, a spacious panoramic terrace of 30 sqm extends, offering breathtaking views over Lake Como. The impressive entrance hall welcomes guests with great charm and leads to an elegant living room enhanced by a fireplace, perfect for moments of relaxation. The living area is completed by a refined dining room, a second living room with direct access to the large outdoor terrace, a bathroom with shower, and a spacious eat-in kitchen with an ancient decorative fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with: table, dishwasher, hob, oven, microwave, coffee machine, refrigerator, and toaster, ideal for preparing any dish in an atmosphere rich in character.
The garden level features a convenient laundry room, changing room, storage space, utility rooms, and an evocative greenhouse.

First and second floors: The upper floors host the sleeping area, comprising two elegant double bedrooms and one bedroom with a French bed (three-quarter size). There are two bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a bathtub, designed to offer maximum comfort. Enhancing these spaces is a charming winter garden with large windows that flood the rooms with natural light, and a spacious terrace overlooking a spectacular panorama, perfect for moments of absolute relaxation.

Prices and conditions

Included in the price: Final cleaning; utilities (water, electricity, gas); Internet Wifi; house and garden maintenance.

Excluded from the price: Any extra services on request. Tourist tax if required (the amount usually varies, depending on location, from 0.50€ to 4.00€ per person per night for a maximum of seven nights, excluding minors, and will be paid upon arrival).

Security deposit: Customers are required to pay 800.00€ security deposit upon arrival (cash), which will be returned at the end of the stay upon any damages.

Villa Dizzasco is located in the heart of Dizzasco, a charming village nestled in the beautiful Valle Intelvi, one of the greenest and most well-kept areas of the Como province. This picturesque valley connects Lake Como to Lake Lugano, offering breathtaking scenery between Italy and Switzerland.
The villa provides maximum privacy, yet it’s only a short walk from a typical bar, a local restaurant, and a range of other amenities. It’s the perfect base for outdoor lovers, with plenty of panoramic hiking trails and mountain biking routes to explore. Nearby, you’ll also find the renowned Lanzo Golf Club (just 10 km away) and the slopes of Monte Sighignola (around 17 km), ideal for a few hours of sport and leisure.
Just a few minutes away, the quaint village of Argegno enchants visitors with its narrow historic streets, lakeside squares, and charming cafés, ice-cream parlors, and restaurants where you can savor local specialties. From here, you can hop on a ferry to discover the gems of Lake Como or take the hydrofoil for a quicker trip to famous destinations like Bellagio and Menaggio.
Traveling further along the lakeshore, you’ll come across the elegant town of Laglio, a prestigious destination chosen by George Clooney for his stunning villa and a perfect spot for enjoying exclusive lakeside aperitifs at sunset.
Continuing south, the vibrant city of Como awaits, offering shopping, culture, and a lively urban atmosphere.
