Places to visit

Villa Torribina is nestled in the Tuscan countryside, just 2 km from Cerreto Guidi, a charming Medieval village located among the gentle hills of Montalbano and the Arno River, in the province of Florence.
The village takes its name from the Guidi counts, ancient feudal lords who built a castle there, not far from the route of the Via Francigena - the historic road traveled by pilgrims and merchants.
In Cerreto Guidi, we recommend visiting the Medici Villa, built around 1556 by order of Cosimo I de’ Medici as a hunting residence. The villa is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
About 8 km away lies Vinci, the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci, home to the Leonardo Museum and the house where the Renaissance genius was born.
The area also offers numerous trekking and cycling routes, allowing visitors to explore the rolling Tuscan hills and characteristic rural landscapes.
For food and wine lovers, the region is part of the Montalbano Wine and Olive Oil Route, offering the chance to taste typical local products such as extra virgin olive oil and regional wines.
Finally, the cities of Florence, Pisa, Lucca, and even the Tyrrhenian coast can all be reached in less than an hour by car.

Main distances: Cerreto Guidi (2 km), Vinci (8 km), Lucca (42 km), Pisa (54 km), Livorno (61 km), Florence (62 km), Siena (83 km).
Please note that the distances mentioned above are approximate, and are referred as the crow flies from the property.
