Villa Castiglioni is located in the countryside of Castiglion Fiorentino, near Cortona. The property is surrounded by a well-kept private garden with lawn and flowers from which you can admire a splendid view of Castiglion Fiorentino. Within the garden there is a comfortable patio, furnished with a dining table for 6 people, a lounge area and a swing.
The outdoor spaces feature a beautiful fenced pool (11 x 5 m, depth 0.8 - 1.8 m), open from 1st June to 1st October, and equipped with parasol, deck chairs and outdoor shower.
Near the pool there is also a stone barbecue, perfect for preparing delicious grills with friends.
Finally, at guests' disposal you will find: an uncovered private parking for 5 cars, a small children's play area (with slide and swing), and an unfenced five-a-side football pitch, for the amusement of both adults and kids.

Internal Description

Villa Castiglioni is set on one single level, on the ground floor, and can accommodate up to 6 people, has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Internet Wifi is included. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning. All bedrooms have mosquito nets. Pets are allowed on request.

Guests are welcomed by a lovely open-space living area with direct access to the garden, furnished with: sofa, armchair, fireplace, tv and kitchen with dining table for 4 people. The kitchen is fully equipped with: oven, stove, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, and kettle.
The sleeping area consists of: 1 double bedroom with wardrobe and ensuite bathroom (with bathtub), 1 double bedroom with direct access to the garden, and 1 bedroom with bunk beds.
Lastly there is a bathroom with shower.

Prices and conditions

Included in the price: Utilities (water and gas except electricity); Internet Wifi; house, garden and pool maintenance.

Excluded from the price: Final cleaning (100.00€); electricity according to consumption (1.00€/Kw). Tourist tax if required (the amount usually varies, depending on location, from 0.50€ to 4.00€ per person per night for a maximum of seven nights, excluding minors, and will be paid upon arrival).

Security deposit: Customers are required to pay 300.00€ security deposit upon arrival (cash), which will be returned at the end of the stay upon any damages.

Villa Castiglioni is located in the beautiful countryside of Castiglion Fiorentino, a town full of all kinds of beauties, with a great past, from the Etruscans to the Lorraine. The town is well protected by ancient walls, within which real treasures, churches and palaces are hidden, a mix of unique style, from Romanesque to Neoclassical. Among the historical buildings of enormous interest there is the Castle of Montecchio (just 5 km from the villa), a castle with a great history, linked to the English captain John Hawkwood.
Castiglion Fiorentino is located on the border between Tuscany and Umbria, enjoying an ideal position that allows you to easily reach both the most famous tourist destinations in Tuscany (Arezzo, Cortona, Florence, Siena, Val d’Orcia) and Umbria (Perugia, Gubbio, Assisi, Orvieto).
For sports lovers, we recommend an excursion to the beautiful Lake Trasimeno (the fourth largest lake in Italy) where you can practice several activities: sailing, sport fishing, canoeing, water skiing.
For wellness lovers, there are three important spas in the surrounding area: Rapolano, Montepulciano and Chianciano Terme.
For shopping lovers, in addition to the beautiful shops of Cortona, in half an hour by car you can reach the Valdichiana Outlet Village.
