External Description

Villa Marciglia is located in the heart of Chianti, surrounded by 40 hectares of private land, where you are welcome to go walking or use the mountain bikes available.
The property boasts a garden with lawn and barbecue, and a pergola with dining table and lounge area, ideal for alfresco meals while enjoying the magnificent panorama.
Among the outdoor spaces you will also find a private parking and a beautiful pool (12 x 4 m), equipped with sun beds, external shower and hydromassage area where you can relax perhaps sipping a good glass of wine.

Internal Description

Villa Marciglia consists of the main building (spread over 2 floors) and a dependance (set on one level). It can accommodate up to 15 people for a total of 8 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms. Air conditioning is available in all rooms. Pets are allowed.

Main building: On the ground floor there is a spacious and well equipped kitchen; a dining room and a large lounge area with a grand piano. A small bathroom completes the floor.
On the first floor there are 6 bedrooms (4 doubles, 1 twin and 1 single), each with private bathroom (5 with shower and 1 with bathtub). On this level there is also a second kitchen and a living area with a splendid view of the surrounding countryside.

Dependance : The dependance is located near the pool and has 2 bedrooms (1 double and 1 twin), a bathroom (shower), a kitchen and a living room overlooking the pool.

Prices and conditions

Included in the price: Internet Wifi; linen, bath towels, pool towels; cold dinner on arrival; continental breakfast on the first morning; 3 hours of cleaning on Wednesdays, including change of towels; electricity.

Excluded from the price: Final cleaning (€250.00); air conditioning and heating according to consumption. Extra services: massages and beauty treatments; wine tasting; truffle hunting; bird hunting; private Chef; horse riding; cooking lessons; dinner with the Chef at the local restaurant. Tourist tax (the amount usually varies, depending on location, from €0,50 to €4.00 per person per night for a maximum of seven nights, excluding minors, and will be paid upon arrival).

Security deposit: Customers are required to pay 800,00€ security deposit upon arrival (cash), which will be returned at the end of the stay upon damages.

Villa Marciglia is located in the heart of the Chianti area, near the village of Badia a Passignano where you will find the beautiful monastery of the Abbey of San Michele Arcangelo, and some shops and restaurants.
The wonderful area of Chianti Classico is known worldwide for the prestigious wine to which it gives birth (the typical emblem of the Gallo Nero) and for its evocative sceneries and charming villages which are along the “Via Chiantigiana”, from the nearby Panzano to Gaiole, from Castellina to Greve.
Siena and Florence are an hour away by car.
It is also worth visiting the countryside of Siena: here you will find other medieval gems, of incomparable charm and still remained intact, like Monteriggioni, San Gimignano and San Galgano.

Main distances: Badia a Passignano (4 km), Panzano in Chianti (10 km), Florence (40 km), San Gimignano (40 km), Siena (50 km).
