External Description

Villa Pollinelle is located in the lovely village of Porcari, just 20 minutes from Lucca. Surrounded by a large private garden with several plants and flowers, the property boasts a beautiful lemon house, furnished with a dining table, chairs, a fridge and a barbecue, ideal for alfresco meals with friends.
Among the outdoor spaces you will also find an orchard, a vegetable garden, and an above-ground pool (6 x 3.7 m, depth 1.2 m), open from April to October.
At guests' disposal also an uncovered private parking for 4 cars.

Internal Description

Villa Pollinelle is spread over 2 floors and can accommodate up to 11 people, has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Internet Wifi is included. A baby cot and a high chair are available upon request. Pets are not allowed.

Ground floor: The ground floor is dedicated to the living area, made up of: a living room with sofa, dining table, tv, fireplace, and chess corner; a spacious tavern with treadmill, stone sink and a large dining table, capable of seating up to 38 people. Following is a large wooden kitchen with peninsula, fully equipped with: stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee machine, dining table, fireplace, and tv.
The floor is completed by a bathroom with shower.

First floor: The upper floor consists of 5 bedrooms divided as follows: four doubles (including one with ensuite bathroom with shower), one with bunk beds (consisting of 3 single beds).
Then you will find a bathroom with shower and bathtub, and an office/study with sofa bed.

Prices and conditions

Included in the price: Final cleaning; utilities (water, gas, electricity); Internet Wifi; house, garden and pool maintenance.

Excluded from the price: Any extra services on request (such as a private chef for themed, rustic or Tuscan dinners); possibility to buy locally produced organic oil, and fruit and vegetables from the garden. Tourist tax if required (the amount usually varies, depending on location, from 0.50€ to 4.00€ per person per night for a maximum of seven nights, excluding minors, and will be paid upon arrival).

Places to visit

Villa Pollinelle is located in Porcari, a lovely village of the “Plain of Lucca”, along the shores of the ancient lake of Sesto, once an important crossroads between Via Francigena and Via Cassia.
Just 20 minutes by car you will find both Montecatini Terme (a renowned Tuscan spa resort) and Lucca, the Medieval city traditionally called the "city of a hundred churches" for the large number of places of worship within the city center, and famous for its imposing tree-lined walls, that can be entirely walkable.
Moreover, Lucca is the venue for several musical and cultural events throughout the year, such as Lucca Summer & Winter Festival e il Lucca Comics & Games.
Beyond Lucca, one of the main tourist attractions of the surrounding area is the presence of countless historic villas, beautifully preserved and absolutely bewitching thanks to the group of gardens, parks, tree-lined avenues and “water games”.
Within 40 minutes by car you can reach both Pisa, the city of the leaning tower, and the Versilia coast with Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi and Pietrasanta.
Lovers of nature and sports (trekking and mountain biking) cannot miss the opportunity to organize an excursion to Garfagnana, an area rich in natural landscapes, peaks, trails, and ancient villages to discover. Besides the cuisine of this area is based on the aromas and flavors of tradition.
