External Description

Villa Poggio Greve is located in the countryside of Panzano in Chianti, and can be reached by crossing a quiet, sealed road.
The property is located on top of a hill (altitude of 450 m), and enjoys a breathtaking panorama of the Chianti Classico vineyards and olive groves.
Surrounded by a garden with lawn, flowers, olive and lemon trees, the villa boasts a large patio with panoramic view, barbecue and private parking.
The outdoor spaces are embellished by a beautiful infinity pool (10 x 5 m), equipped with parasol, sunbeds and external shower (wih cold water). Next to the pool is a large gazebo with a dining table, ideal for having alfresco lunches/dinners, surrounded by nature.

Internal Description

Spread over 3 floors, Villa Poggio Greve can accommodate up to 12 people for a total of 6 bedrooms (5 with double bed 160x190cm and 1 with two single beds 80x190cm) and 5 bathrooms (all provided with hairdryer).
Internet Wifi is included. Pets are not allowed. All windows are provided with mosquito screens. Five bedrooms have ceiling fans.

Basement floor: Through an independent entrance from the outside you can reach the basement which houses a "tavern" overlooking the garden and the pool. Inside you will find a double bed, a sofa bed and a bathroom with shower.

Ground floor: You are welcomed by a large living room with sofas, armchairs, fireplace and tv. Following is a dining room with a wooden table, and a sitting room with armchairs and fireplace.
The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped with: fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster and breakfast table.
On this floor there is also a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
Finally is a veranda, a storage room and a laundry room.

First floor: The upper floor is dedicated to the sleeping area divided as follows: 1 double bedroom with private bathroom with shower; 1 double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower and hot tub; 1 double bedroom and 1 bedroom with two single beds (that can be joined together if necessary). These last two bedrooms share a bathroom with shower.

Prices and conditions

Included in the price: Utilities (water, gas, electricity); house, garden and pool maintenance; Internet Wifi.

Excluded from the price: Final cleaning (100.00€). Tourist tax (the amount usually varies, depending on location, from €0,50 to €4.00 per person per night for a maximum of seven nights, excluding minors, and will be paid upon arrival).

Security deposit: Customers are required to pay 300,00€ security deposit upon arrival (cash), which will be returned at the end of the stay upon damages.

Places to visit

Villa Poggio Greve is ideally located in the Chianti Classico countryside, halfway between Florence and Siena, and just 1 km from the picturesque mediaeval village of Panzano in Chianti, where you can find all basic shops (grocery sore, bakery, butcher, newsstand...), some restaurants and bars and a wine shop.
Also in the area of Panzano there are about 12 Wineries producing excellent wines, some of which can be visited and are available for tasting.
The amazing area of Chianti Classico is known worldwide for the prestigious wine to which it gives birth (the typical emblem of the Gallo Nero), and for its evocative sceneries and charming villages which are along the “Via Chiantigiana”, from the nearby Greve to Panzano, from Castellina to Radda.
Even Siena, a splendid medieval city full of tradition and artistic masterpieces, is near (just 45 minutes away by car).
It is also worth visiting the countryside of Siena: here you will find other medieval gems, like Monteriggioni, San Gimignano and San Galgano.
