External Description

Suite Centoia Amiata is one of the 4 apartments that make up Villa Centoia, a wonderful property situated a few km from Cortona and Lake Trasimeno, near the border between Tuscany and Umbria.
The property is surrounded by a garden of about 1 hectare, characterized by majestic oaks, rows of vines, small fruit trees, a vegetable garden available to guests, and a little pond with fish and water lilies.
Moreover, among the outdsoor spaces you will find: several areas equipped with sofas and large tables for alfresco lunches/dinners; a delightful pool (6 x 12 m), equipped with deck chairs and sun loungers; a private parking.
In the basement of Villa Centoia there is a lounge bar, equipped with a professional machine for coffee, cappuccinos and herbal teas. The bar can be used for indoor lunches and dinners, but also for breakfast and wine tasting on request (this service is not included in the price).
All the outdoor spaces, the pool and the lounge bar are shared with the other 3 apartments while the outdoor hot tub is for the exclusive use of the guests of Suite Centoia Amiata.

Internal Description

Suite Centoia Amiata is an adults-only apartment (no minors under the age of 14 allowed), is spread over 2 levels, and can accommodate up to 4 people.
The apartment is provided with: air conditioning, piped music, tv, Internet Wifi, induction hob, fridge, freezer, mosquito screens and blackout curtains. Pets are not allowed.
On the ground floor you are welcomed by a bright living area with a double sofa bed. Following is an equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower and a closet.
On the first floor, accessible via an open staircase with a window overlooking Cortona, you will find a large suite (about 60 sqm), furnished with silk sofas, an early 20th century table and large windows offering a splendid view of the top of Monte Amiata. Inside the suite there is also a double bed (with electric slats), a hot tub (with chromotherapy), a private bathroom with shower. Finally is a “Secret room” with Japanese futon (2 pieces) and a private toilet.

Prices and conditions

Included in the price: Utilities (water, gas, electricity, except for heating); welcome basket (breakfast for the first morning, olive oil, 1 bottle of wine, salt and pepper); access to the lounge bar; private parking; pool towels; washing machine and dryer; ironing set.

Excluded from the price: Final cleaning (150.00€); heating consumption; breakfast and wine tasting at the lounge bar on request; bar service; other extra services on request. Tourist tax (the amount usually varies, depending on location, from €0,50 to €4.00 per person per night for a maximum of seven nights, excluding minors, and will be paid upon arrival).

Security deposit: Customers are required to pay 300,00€ security deposit upon arrival (cash), which will be returned at the end of the stay upon damages.

Suite Centoia Amiata is set in a natural setting made of majestic oaks and views over Monte Amiata and Cortona, Etruscan and Medieval town that is just 15 minutes away.
The property is ideally located near the border between Tuscany and Umbria so allows you to easily reach the most famous tourist destinations in Tuscany (Arezzo, Siena, Val d'Orcia) and Umbria (Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio and Orvieto).
For sports lovers, we recommend a day trip to the nearby Lake Trasimeno (the fourth largest lake in Italy) where you can practice several activities: sailing, fishing, canoeing, water skiing.
For wellness lovers, there are two important spas in the surrounding area: Montepulciano and Chianciano Terme.
